Tyler White and Martin Maldonado keyed the Astros' offense in a 10-7 win over the Mariners in Seattle. Both players racked up three hits, including a home run, as Houston took two-of-three. Charlie Morton got the win despite giving up six runs in five-plus innings. The Astros led 8-0 in the fourth inning and hung on. They now lead the A's by one game in the AL West. Marco Gonzales gave up eight runs in three-plus frames to take the loss. Mitch Haniger homered to highlight a five-run sixth for the M's, who fell five-and-a-half back in the division.
