A massive police presence on the far northwest side, as officers search for a man who bolted from police while driving a stolen truck, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Officers say the officer was helping a citizen on Camp Bullis Rd. off I-10 on the northwest side when he noticed the suspect acting suspiciously around the pickup truck.
When he approached the man, he first gave evasive answers and then ran from the officer, jumping into Leon Creek and then toward Camp Bullis.
San Antonio Police, Bexar County Deputies, and Military Police are on the lookout for the man. Police say they don't think he is a danger to the public because the area is contained and Camp Bullis is locked down.
Police say the areas is almost impenetrable due to undergrowth, and dog teams are helping try to pick up the guy's trail.
