The number of people who've gotten sick from McDonald's salads is rising. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say there are now 436 confirmed cases of cyclospora infection, part of an outbreak that started in May. The illnesses have been linked to salads in ten states: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. At least 20 people have been hospitalized. The outbreak has been traced to salad ingredients from Fresh Express and McDonald's said it has pulled the mix from its restaurants.
