Deshaun Watson made his brief return to the field as the Texans topped the Chiefs 17-10 in the preseason opener last night. Watson completed just one pass in limited action. Backup Brandon Weeden hooked up with Jordan Akins on a pair of touchdown passes for Houston. The Texans host the 49ers next Saturday.
