Facebook is denying reports it went to customers' financial institutions seeking their information in order to add new services through its messaging platform. The social media giant wants banks to offer products to its users so Facebook could provide customer service through Messenger. Facebook claims in a statement they weren't looking for data on users' financial transactions.
