Primaries are happening in four states today, along with a special congressional election in Ohio. Voters are heading to the polls in Michigan, Kansas, Missouri and Washington state to select candidates for November's midterm elections. Meantime, much attention is focused on Ohio's 12th congressional district where Republican Troy Balderson is facing Democrat Danny O'Connor. It's a solid Republican district but the race is said to be neck-and-neck. President Trump recently traveled to Ohio to campaign for Balderson.
The Ohio seat came open after Republican Congressman Pat Tiberi resigned in January. Tiberi stepped down to join a private business venture.
