California wildfire is now second largest in state history

The Mendocino Complex Fire is now the second largest wildfire in California history and it just keeps on growing.  The blaze is only 30-percent contained, and has jumped from the fourth to the second largest fire overnight after tearing through another seven-thousand acres.  The grand total of scorched land is now just under 274-thousand acres in Northern California, only a few thousand shy of last December's Thomas Fire.  While Mendocino is on track to become the largest fire in the state's history, the incident has been less damaging to human life and property.
