Another arrest of a Bexar County Sheriff's Deputy overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The Sheriff's Office says a deputy was arrested at 12:45 this morning for Assault Family Violence.
The Deputy is identified as a four year veteran of the BCSO, assigned to the Detention Center.Officials say the deputy is on 'administrative leave pending further criminal investigation,' and says the BCSO Internal Affairs office is also investigating.
This is the latest in an embarrassing string of arrests of Bexar County Deputies this year.
Deputies have been arrested for drunk driving, domestic violence, and two former deputies were arrested by federal authorities last month on charges that they were operating a ring that was smuggling meth to jail inmates.
