A 23 year old man is facing a murder charge 'at least,' after he shot and killed a 'Good Samaritan' who tried to stop him from stealing a car on San Antonio's northeast side Sunday afternoon, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police tell News Radio 1200 WOAI it all began when the 23 year old suspect carjacked a vehicle from a gas station on O'Connor Rd.
Several men who saw the carjacking jumped into their cars to chase the suspect.
At one point the suspect sideswiped one of the pursuing vehicles.. The suspect then pulled a gun and shot the 31 year old driver.. He was shot at least once in the chest and died at the hospital.
Police found the suspect, identified as Jacob Gabriel, cowering in a nearby motel and he was captured without further bloodshed.
