Two huge wildfires in northern California are now being treated as one massive blaze. The Ranch Fire is threatening thousands of buildings and has prompted thousands of people to flee their homes in Mendocino and Lake counties. The largest active wildfire in the state has scorched over 157-thousand acres and is only 30-percent contained. It has overtaken the Carr Fire, which is raging at 134-thousand acres in Shasta County.
