President Trump Thanks Kim For Returning Remains

The remains of possible American MIAs have been returned to the U.S. and President Trump is thanking Kim Jong Un for making it happen.  The president took to Twitter this morning to send a thank you to the North Korean Leader.  He wrote that Jong Un kept his promise in returning the remains of those believed to be military members from the Korean War.  Trump thanked Jong Un for sending him a "nice letter."  Trump noted that he looks forward to seeing Kim again soon.  The two leaders held a summit in Singapore in June.  They agreed on a general framework for denuclearization but subsequent negotiations on specifics have proven difficult.

Vice President Mike Pence spoke at a ceremony in Hawaii, which honored the soldiers.  Pence said more work lies ahead to make sure all American remains from the Korean War are returned.
