Are you ready for some basketball?
The San Antonio Spurs announced today that pre-season will begin earlier than ever, with the first exhibition game set for September 30th against Miami at the AT&T Center.
The Spurs will play a total of six pre-season games, with the last game set for October 12th in Orlando.
Three of the pre season games will be at the AT&T Center, with the other two in Orlando and Atlanta. All pre-season games, as are all regular and post season games, will be on 1200 WOAI with the Voice of the Spurs Bill Schoening.
The NBA is attempting to stretch out the regular season to cut down on back-to-back games. The reason is to make sure that more of the superstars the fans come to the arena are playing in as many games as possible.
