Orioles Silence Rangers Bats

Five Orioles pitchers combined on a four-hitter to shutout the Rangers 1-0 in Baltimore.  Yefry Ramirez pitched five innings and Brad Brach  picked up the victory in relief.  Jonathan Schoop's sacrifice fly scored Caleb Joseph in the sixth inning for the run.  The  Orioles have a major league-worst record of 27-and-69.  Martin Perez took the loss, yielding the run on five hits over  seven innings.  Texas went 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position and  stranded eight.  The Rangers have lost four of five and are last in the AL West with a 41-55 record.
