Chad Pinder hit a three-run homer to lead the Athletics to an 8-3 victory over the Astros in Houston. Khris Davis also drove in three Oakland runs with a double and triple. Chris Bassitt yielded three runs over five innings to pick up the victory. The A's are 12-and-3 in their last 15 games. Lance McCullers Jr. allowed six runs in four innings to take the loss. Tyler White homered and Yuli Gurriel singled in two runs for Houston, which leads the AL West by three games over Seattle.
