The Tigers scored all seven of their runs in the first inning as they blasted the Rangers 7-2 in Detroit. Nick Castellanos homered and a Delino DeShields fielding error resulted in three runs scored. Niko Goodrum finished with four hits and Mike Fiers worked six innings for the win. Cole Hamels record just two outs before getting chased for Texas. Rougned Odor homered in defeat. The Rangers have lost five-of-six.
