A 34 year old man was killed early today in a hit and run incident on the city's west side, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the victim was pushing a shopping cart filled with items down Bandera Road not far from Woodlawn Street about 3:30 this morning.
The victim was hit by a pickup that did not stop and render aid. The truck was found abandoned nearby, with the driver missing. Police say they obviously know who the driver is and the driver will face charges.
No word on why the man was pushing the cart down the street at 3:30AM.
