A 42 year old man is clinging to life, after he was brutally attacked on the front step of his own home early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the victim had just arrived at his home on Gulf St, which is off Walters St. on the east side, when two men ran up to him and started beating and stabbing him.
Detectives said the attackers had clearly been waiting for the victim to arrive.He was stabbed in the stomach and the shoulder. The two assailants ran away.
Police say the victim's wife recognized the men who attacked him, and officers think it stemmed from a neighborhood feud.
