Chimezie Metu was the Spurs second selection and 49th pick overall in the NBA Draft. Metu played for the USC Trojans and was chosen in the 2nd round of the draft.
Earlier, the Spurs chose Lonnie Walker IV as their first selection and 18th overall pick in the draft.
Walker averaged over 11 points a game in his one season with the Miami Hurricanes.
