Just in time for the hot days of summer, Amazon today introduced one and two hour beer delivery for Prime members in San Antonio, and in the other major cities in Texas, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Amazon says hundreds of beer and wine products will be available for home delivery, from national brands like Miller Lite and Dos Equis, to local craft beers.
This marks a major expansion of Amazon's one and two hour Prime delivery service in San Antonio, which already delivers food, pet supplies, and a wide variety of groceries, as well as electronics.
Amazon's beer and wine delivery service will follow state law (no deliveries before noon on Sunday!)
In San Antonio, alcohol delivery is available from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Through Prime Now, customers receive free two-hour delivery windows and one-hour delivery for a fee.
