A man is in critical condition after he was stabbed with his own knife, the the driveway of his own home early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the 47 year old man had just gotten out of his pickup in the driveway of his home in the 800 block of Durr St, which is of South Flores, when he was confronted by three men who walked up to him.
The men started going thorough the victim's pockets in what police say was a robbery attempt, when one of the thugs found a pocket knife in the man's pocket and started stabbing him with it.
The three wanna-be robbers then got spooked and ran away, leaving the knife stuck in the man's chest. It was still there when paramedics arrived to rush the victim to the hospital.
The three thugs, who apparently stole nothing in the violent attack, remains at large.
