Dodgers beat Rangers 12-5

Yasiel Puig highlighted a seven-run fourth inning with a two-run blast as the Dodgers rolled the Rangers 12-5 at Chavez Ravine.  Puig finished with two hits, three RBI and two  runs scored.  Joc Pederson and Max Muncy also left the yard for Los  Angeles, which took the opener of the two-game series.  Bartolo Colon  didn't make it out of LA's big frame, getting charged with eight runs on  nine hits.  Colon fell to 3-and-4.  Shin-Soo Choo hit his 12th homer of  the season in defeat.
