Evan Gattis homered and drove in five runs to help the Astros double up the Athletics 6-3 in Oakland. Carlos Correa also went deep to back seven strong innings from Lance McCullers Junior. McCullers earned the win to move to 8-and-3 and Ken Giles locked down his 11th save. The 'Stros have won six straight to improve to 43-and-25 overall. A's starter Daniel Mengden was chased in the fifth and surrendered six runs in the loss. Matt Chapman went 3-for-3 with a run scored for Oakland, which fell to 34-and-33.
