Police say the brutal stabbing of a woman in her north side home early Sunday was a case of domestic violence, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police were alerted to an argument a the Regatta Apartments in the 12000 block of Scarsdale, which is off Thousand Oaks, about 4AM Sunday.
When officers arrived they found a 38 year old woman bleeding from a three inch slash on her neck.She was rushed to the hospital with no vital signs. She was pronounced dead on arrival.
The woman's boyfriend jumped into an SUV and sped away as police arrived.No word on what prompted the stabbing.
