Adrian Beltre hit a go-ahead, solo homer in the eighth inning and the Rangers went on to beat the Athletics 7-4 in Arlington. Shin-Soo Shoo pulled Texas even with a two-run shot in the seventh. Joey Gallo, Jurickson Profar and Robinson Chirinos also went deep in the win. Chris Martin got credit for the win and Keone Kela struck out the side in the ninth for his 14th save. A's reliever Lou Trivino surrendered three runs while recording only one out in the eighth to take the loss. Khris Davis went 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBI in defeat.
