Shin-Soo Choo led off the bottom-of-the-tenth with a home run as the Rangers walked off the Royals 4-3 in Arlington. Bartolo Colon allowed three runs over seven innings in a no-decision. Alex Claudio picked up the victory as the Rangers won for the fourth time in five games. Whit Merrifield laced a two-run double in the third as the Royals jumped out to a 3-0 advantage. Kevin McCarthy served up the home run to Choo to take the loss. Starter Ian Kennedy labored through five innings with 90 pitches, giving up two runs. The Royals dropped to 10-and-17 in road games.
