Shin-Soo Choo and Ronald Guzman each homered as the Rangers doubled up the Royals 8-4 in Arlington. Guzman's fourth inning home run gave Texas a 4-3 lead. Nomar Mazara added a two-run homer in the fifth inning to pad the Rangers' lead. Mike Minor struck out four across six innings to pick up the win. The Rangers have won three-of-four. Mike Moustakas and Jorge Soler homered in the losing effort. Eric Skoglund allowed six runs over four-and-one-third frames to take the loss. The Royals had their three-game winning streak snapped.
