Justify is the winner of the 143rd running of the Preakness Stakes. The Kentucky Derby winner won the second leg of the Triple Crown on a wet, muddy, foggy day at Pimlico Race Course. Bravazo finished second in the eight-horse field, followed by Tenfold in third. Justify can try and complete the Triple Crown with a win in the Belmont Stakes on June 9th. American Pharoah was the last Triple Crown winner in 2015, ending a 37-year drought that dated back to 1978. With a win at the Belmont, Justify would become just the 12th Triple Crown winner in history.
