Nominee Haspel Now Says CIA Shouldn’t Have Had a Interrogation Program

Trump's pick to be the next CIA director, Gina Haspel, now says the CIA shouldn't have conducted its interrogation and detention program during the George W. Bush years.

This is a bit of a reversal to what she had said publicly during her confirmation hearing last week.

Haspel's confirmation has been a difficult fight because of her role in the interrogation program that many considered torture.

In her closed-door meetings with committee members, Haspel is telling senators she did believe torture is immoral, but she did not want to be seen as publicly criticizing her colleagues at the CIA.

Do you think that Haspel is simply saying what she thinks Senators want to hear in order to get confirmed? Do you think she should get the job?
