A new email phishing scam is going around pretending to be a warning from Netflix. The fake email says, "Your Netflix Membership is on hold," and then asks for your credit card details using threatening language. Researchers at Malwarebytes say it's a "fairly sophisticated" scam that uses a security certificate and a website that looks like a legitimate Netflix login screen. The streaming service assures customers that it will never ask for any personal information to be sent over email.
