The Charlotte Hornets have named San Antonio Spurs assistant James Borrego their next head coach. Borrego replaces Steve Clifford, who was let go after five seasons in Charlotte. The Hornets have missed the playoffs each of the last two seasons after posting consecutive 36-and-46 records.
