The Tigers smacked three home runs in the first two innings to build a 5-0 lead and cruise to a 7-4 win over the Rangers at Globe Life Park. Jeimer Candelario hit a solo shot and Victor Martinez a two-run blast in the first, and Jose Iglesias added a two-run shot in the second for Detroit. Mike Fiers pitched five-and-a-third innings of two-run ball for his third win of the season. Shane Greene got four outs to record his seventh save. Mike Minor fell to 3-and-2 with the loss. Jurickson Profar homered and Adrian Beltre went 3-for-4 with two RBI for Texas.
