HUD Secretary to Be Sued for Suspending Obama-Era Fair-Housing Rule

Housing rights groups are expected to sue the Department of Housing and Urban Development today for dropping an Obama-era policy that promoted fair housing.

Secretary Ben Carson threw out the 2015 rule that required communities to overcome historic segregation patterns to get federal funds.
