A San Antonio man drowned Sunday night while tubing in the Comal River in New Braunfels, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police were called to the Comal River behind 90 Comal Circle about 6:30 Sunday night, after tubers reported that a 36 year old man who was part of their group was missing.
Fire Department divers arrived and soon found James Flores underwater.
He was rushed to Christus New Braunfels via ambulance, but was declared dead.
