One person has been killed and another wounded in a shooting Wednesday morning at a northwest side apartment complex, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police responding to a report of gunfire at the apartments in the 7200 block of Snowden Rd, which is near Babcock and Wurzbach in the Medical Center, found the body of one victim on the third floor balcony of an apartment.A second person walked into Methodist Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound and police think he was shot in the same incident.
Witnesses said several shots were fired, and it appeared to be a gunbattle between a person in the apartment and another person in the parking lot.
Police have a description of second suspect and are looking for him. He may be the person who dropped the wounded man off at the hospital.
