Sadly, Officer Rogelio Santander is dead a day after being shot at a Home Depot in North Texas.
Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall told reporters today her heart was broken and asked everyone to pray for Santander's family along with the department itself.
Hall did say that another officer and a Home Depot employee are still hospitalized in critical condition, but are doing better.
Santander, Officer Crystal Almeida, and loss prevention officer Scott Painter were shot yesterday while taking Armando Juarez into custody.
