Tyler Skaggs and two relievers combined for a seven-hit shutout as the Angels blanked the Astros 2-0 at Minute Maid Park. Skaggs improved to 3-and-1 with the win. Keynan Middleton closed it out for his sixth save. Kole Calhoun singled in a run in the fifth inning, while Justin Upton padded the lead with an RBI-double in the sixth as the Halos improved to 10-and-1 on the road and 15-and-8 overall. Jose Altuve had two hits for the Astros, who saw their six-game winning streak come to an end. Gerrit Cole gave up two runs over seven frames as he fell to 2-and-1.
