Charlie Morton fired seven shutout innings as the Astros rocked the Mariners 9-2 in Seattle. Morton gave up three hits and struck out eight to improve to 3-and-0 for Houston. Jose Altuve drove in four on a pair of doubles while Josh Reddick and Max Stassi added solo homers. The Astros took three-of-four from the Mariners on the road. Marco Gonzales lasted less than five frames and took the loss for the M's. David Freitas and Jean Segura had back-to-back RBI-doubles to break up the shutout in the eighth. Seattle fell to 9-and-8.
