Gerrit Cole fired seven solid innings as the Astros stumped the Mariners 7-1 in Seattle. Cole stuck out five batters and gave up one unearned run to earn the win. George Springer clubbed a two-run double and Marwin Gonzalez had a two-run single. Houston improved to 12-and-7. Mike Leake gave up five runs over six-plus innings and took the loss for Seattle. Robinson Cano singled in the lone run for the M's, who fell to 9-and-7.
