Robinson Chirinos doubled home two runs in the top of the 10th inning as the Rangers outlasted the Astros 3-1 at Minute Maid Park. Chirinos also homered for Texas, which took the final two games of the three-game series, both in extra innings. Starter Bartolo Colon took a perfect game into the eighth inning before allowing a leadoff walk, a double and a game-tying sac-fly to Yuli Gurriel. Houston starter Justin Verlander struck out 11 while allowing just one hit and one run over eight innings. Hector Rondon took the loss.
