A south side gunman who police say was seeking revenge following an argument was trying to shoot his rival, but instead shot the intended victims mother, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The argument took place at a home in the 100 block of Dorsey Street, which is off Pleasanton Rd.
About two hours after the argument, the man drove by the home. He saw the man in front of the home with his mother and started shooting at the house.
The mom was shot twice in the head. She was rushed to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
The man was was the target of the shooting was not hurt, and he is refusing to help police find tge person who shot his own mother.
