Timothy is one of the stars of the Zoo, after a social media post celebrating Timothy's 'crush' on the female hippo at the Cincinnati Zoo, Fiona, went viral.
Now Timothy is turning three years old, and the Zoo is celebrating, with a birthday cake made of hippo favorites like fruits, veggies, and a specially made hippo chow.
You can celebrate Timothy's birthday on Saturday with one of the Zoo's Bring a Friend Free Days. Zoo members who show their San Antonio Zoo membership card at the front gate on the date of the visit to get a special free admission for a friend.
The Zoo says San Antonio and Bexar County residents who are not Zoo members will be able to get in for $8 per person, as a way to allow more people to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Timothy.
