More than two dozen fire units were dispatched late this morning to a house fire in the 3900 block of Meadlowlark, which is just south of Highlands High School, News Radio reports.
When fire crews arrived, they found flames shooting out of the back of the two story frame home. Crews worked to contain the fire, especially to prevent it from spreading in the gusty winds to Southside Lions Park across the street.
People were home at the time but nobody was hurt. No word on a cause.
