Another Significant Rain System is Heading Our Way

Another potentially heavy rain system is heading our way, and could start affecting our weather Tuesday afternoon, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

The National Weather Service is predicting 'strong to severe storms' especially east of I-35 and in the eastern Hill Country, starting Tuesday afternoon and moving into Tuesday night.

We could see winds of up to 60 MPH in some areas, as well as large hail of quarter to golf ball size, and rain up to 1.5 inches.

The storm system is expected to cause disruption to the Wednesday morning commute, then move out of the area Wednesday morning.

The sun will return on Wednesday, but we will see significantly lower temperatures, with a high only around 70 degrees.
