The Jayhawks are in the national semifinals for the first time since 2012 and are hoping for a repeat of 2008, when they won their lone national title under Bill Self with a run in San Antonio. In the first semifinal, Cinderella Loyola of Chicago will try to become the first No. 11 seed to reach the title game as it takes on Michigan. The Wolverines were national runners-up in2013, losing to Louisville in the championship game.
