A 30 year old man is dead following a hit and run accident that detectives think may not have been an accident. News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
A 30 year old man was run over by a pickup at the corner of Culebra and San Ignacio and Culebra about 2:30 Sunday morning.
The pickup then sped south on San Joaquin Street.. But several blocks away, the driver of the pickup stopped and set the vehicle on fire.
He then jumped into a waiting car and sped away.
EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
