Villanova shot lights out from downtown and outlasted West Virginia 90-78 in Sweet 16 action from Boston. Jalen Brunson led the charge with 27 points for the Wildcats, who shot 13-of-24 from deep as a team. Omari Spellman scored 18 points and nailed four threes as top-seeded Villanova advances to the Elite Eight. Daxter Miles Junior scored a team-high 16 points for the Mountaineers. West Virginia ends the season at 26-and-11.
