Thanksgiving dinner is going to be more expensive this year. Turkey prices are 73% higher than last year and analysts say they could stay that way through the holiday.
It's largely due to the spread of bird flu, which led to a smaller supply. Higher feed costs and a labor shortage also factored in to the increase in price.
The USDA says the cost of an 8-16 pound turkey is $1.99 a pound, compared to $1.15 last year.
