President Biden says democracy is on the ballot in November's crucial midterm elections.
Speaking at a Democratic National Committee event in DC, Biden criticized the House Republicans' new "Commitment to America" plan. He said there's no mention of abortion, Social Security or Medicare.
Biden accused Republicans of seeking to criminalize abortion nationwide.
Biden said some Republicans want to put Social Security and Medicare "on the chopping block." He accused many Republicans of hypocrisy for their praise of police while defending rioters who assaulted cops during last year's Capitol attack.
Meantime, Biden again argued there's no reason for military-style assault weapons in America.
