Senate Democrats have reached a deal on a health and climate bill that looked to have stalled out.
Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says he's made a deal with West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin on the bill, which invests billions into climate change programs and sets a goal of reducing carbon emissions by 40% over the next eight years.
Manchin has been a tough sell on Democrat-backed spending bills like President Biden's 'Build Back Better' plan. His vote will likely be needed to get the 50 needed to advance the bill.
