The biggest county in the nation is bringing back its mask mandate.
Los Angeles begins a new COVID health order today on all public transportation. That means passengers will need to cover up in airports, taxis, ride-sharing vehicles, and on buses and trains. This is based on the CDC saying masks are still needed, leading to the Justice Department appealing this week's court ruling.
Boston is also urging people to mask up inside crowded places again.
Meantime, Philadelphia is dropping its new indoor mandate just days after reinstating it.
